The Way is the story of countless believers around the world who’ve traded Easter ham for Passover lamb and Sunday church for Saturday Sabbath - all in an effort to live like the Savior.

They’re holding every church tradition up against scripture and cutting away anything that doesn’t conform. In the process, they encounter resistance from a religious system two millennia in the making, and for the first time, learn what it’s like to be a “peculiar people.”

Meet the Creators

Luke, the director, is an award-winning journalist and videographer and Kayte, the producer, is a professional musician and non-fiction writer. We’re a husband and wife team and The Way is our first feature length film.

What we’ve learned in documenting this movement are things we'd never heard in church—and we went to church all our lives. We’re so excited to share this story with you!

Q. What questions does the doc explore?

- If Jesus lived a perfect life, why do modern-day Christians live so differently from Him, in everything from our diet to our dress to our holidays and day of worship?

- If God never changes, why is His moral code for modern-day believers different from the one He gave everyone in the Old Testament?

- Why do we see the apostles observing Passover and other biblical festivals that are nowhere to be found in our modern day church?

Q. How can I watch The Way?

You can buy a digital download, 3-disc Extended Edition or physical DVDs right here on the site by clicking "Buy" in the navigation bar.

Q. What's the length / runtime of the documentary?

The Way is feature-length - 85 minutes.

Q. I'd love to host a screening of The Way. How do I do that?

If you'd like to host a public screening at your church, conference, community center or a local theatre, click here for more information!

Q. Is this film affiliated in any way with The Way International?

No. Our film and production company are not at all affiliated with The Way International. When we titled the film "The Way," we were referring to the language the Messiah used to refer to Himself in scripture - and also the phrase found throughout the Bible describing the path God's laid out for believers to walk in.
